Louis Yuhasz is the man when it comes to introductions. introductions in the hospitality industry? Well, he’s a ninja at that.

Louis is an ambitious and driven man, who would not settle for just an ordinary career path. Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, and raised by a professional chef mom, he has spent most of his career either there or in Charleston, South Carolina, which he likes to suggest is the heart of hospitality. He has an in-depth understanding of the hospitality business having worked on both sides, primarily in training, development and hiring.

He has worked and studied at the same time, and has always worked in the food and beverage or hotel business. He always believed he would finally do as his dad wished and finish school so in 96’ he did when he made what he felt was the wise choice to come to one of his favorite cities on earth, Charleston, South Carolina and attend Johnson & Wales University. The group from Johnson & Wales Charleston in that year’s graduating class went on to become some of the most heralded professionals on the scene today. The book work, of culinary school and of management school just after high school proved to be a huge asset to Yuhasz. “I’m am still so close to people from both my first year out of technical college and my time at Johnson & Wales, lifetime friendships."

Back in his 30s, Yuhasz was working in Washington DC at the largest catering company in the area for private and parochial schools. The timing was spot on to make that move and start a recruiting firm from one of the south’s best cities; surely one of it’s most gracious. Little did Yuhasz know that today Charleston, South Carolina tops national and international lists of favorite cities and is a culinary destination all it’s own.

For years whether it be “5 star or pub bar,” Yuhasz has seen this business, where he believes entertainment is the key and in order to have sold out performances the entertainment has to be top notch.

With a knack for getting to know as well as knowing a lot of people in this business, Yuhasz’s roots run deep here in Charleston where his community activism is also very apparent and awarded.

"I have been in the business I’m proud to say close to 40 years", says Yuhasz. "I bring years of hiring, training and development of top employees for the hospitality industry to the table, now let’s make some introductions shall we?"
